Hello everyone-
Welcome to my blogsite. I am quite excited to tell you what's been going on in my life and how God has been working through it all.
First off, I want to thank all of my family and friends who have prayed me through some of the hardest times in my life the past 2 and 1/2 years. It means so much to me to have an incredible support system. I am truly blessed to have you all! I have learned to take things one day at a time through all of the twists and turns on this road we call life.
As most of you know, I spent 2 months this summer in Thailand and Cambodia working with the organization 'Asia's Hope.' I met great people and orphan kids who stole my heart. For as much as I love my family and friends, I did not want to come back to the states. But, I did come back. And after trying college again, lots of prayer and thinking, I've decided to go back overseas for a year!! My heart is still over in Asia. I cannot WAIT to go see those precious children and hug each and every one of them!!! I'm excited to also see my Thai and Khmer friends as well.
With that said, I made this blog so it will be easy for everyone to see what I'm up to when I'm on a different continent. This will be the easiest way to communicate and let people know I'm safe and how God is working not only in my life, but the lives around me.

*As of now, the goal is to be back over in SE Asia by late April/ early May 2009. More details to follow.

Hi sweetheart! Dana in Goshen here. So glad that your dream of going back is fast becoming reality. You know how very badly I wish I was going back with you, but I'll just live it through your blog! I've been following Jen's all year:) Keep in touch and know that you will constantly be in my prayers and give our kids a hug from me:) love you!
